BATCHELOR ONE
SOLAR FARM
The Batchelor One Solar Farm is a 12.5 MW DC project located near Batchelor NT. Developed by Tetris Energy, and purchased by ENI, this project was the first of 3 projects in the portfolio constructed for BSR Energy.
Tranex Solar Pty Ltd was awarded the project by BSR Energy, due to our extensive experience with the Nextracker system and our track record of constructing projects in remote locations. The project was completed safely and well ahead of schedule.
The mechanical scope included 4787 piles, 356 Nextracker single-axis trackers and 28,756 PV modules.
The Batchelor One Farm will generate approximately 53,000 megawatt hours (MWh) of clean, renewable electricity into the national power grid each year, thereby making a major contribution to Australia’s greenhouse gas reductions. This reduction will be equivalent to taking either 14,700 cars off the road or planting 11,900 trees, producing enough electricity to power approximately 11,500 homes with renewable energy.
Tranex Solar Pty Ltd remains the most trusted solar contractor in Australia, known for completing every project we have started.
