SUNTOP SOLAR FARM

The Suntop Solar Farm is a 189 MW DC project located near Wellington, south of Dubbo in regional New South Wales, which was developed by Canadian Solar, and constructed by Bouygues Construction.

Tranex Solar Pty Ltd was awarded the project by Bouygues Construction, due to our ability to accelerate the Piling Scope and through exemplary performances on previous projects. The project was completed safely and 60 days ahead of schedule.

The site will accommodate a large-scale solar PV system utilising single-axis tracking, and ground mounted panels which will generate 395GWh of energy throughout each year.

Single-axis tracking has been selected for this project to harness the highest amount of solar irradiance as the panels will track the sun’s movement east to west each day. The project is expected to generate 395,000 MWh annually which will meet the needs of approximately 65,000 houses each year.

Tranex Solar Pty Ltd remains the most trusted solar contractor in Australia, known for completing every project we have started.
