BERYL
SOLAR FARM
The Beryl Solar Farm is a 109 MW DC project located approximately five kilometers west of Gulgong, NSW.
Tranex Solar Pty Ltd were awarded this project by Downer, following our exemplary performance on the Ross River Solar Farm project.
The Beryl Solar Farm (developed by First Solar) consists of 44,175 piles, 8,835 Exosun trackers and 309,000 PV modules. The project has a 15 year PPA with Sydney Metro and is used to meet operational electricity needs of the Sydney Metro Northwest rail link.
The Beryl Solar Farm will see electricity generated with the smallest carbon footprint of any PV technology available and is expected to generate more then 199,000 MWh of electricity per operating year.
When completed, the 309,000 advanced solar modules on the Beryl Solar Farm will produce energy to run approximately 25,000 average NSW homes, displacing more than 167,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year.
Tranex Solar Pty Ltd remains the most trusted solar contractor in Australia, known for completing every project we have started.
