DARLINGTON POINT
SOLAR FARM
The Darlington Point Solar Farm is a 333.0 MW DC project located near Leeton NSW.
The project, built by Tranex Solar Pty Ltd - Australia's most trusted solar contractor, is jointly owned by Octopus Investments and Edify Energy and has an approximate capital cost of $450m. A power purchase agreement has been entered into with Delta Electricity for the supply of 150 MW of renewable energy.
Tranex was awarded the project by Signal Energy, following our exemplary track record.
The Darlington Point Solar Farm consists of 1784 Array Technologies DuraTrack® single-axis trackers and 153,000 PV modules.
The Darlington Point Solar Farm will generate approximately 1,400,000 megawatt hours (MWh) per annum of clean, renewable electricity into the national power grid each year, thereby making a major contribution to Australia’s greenhouse gas reductions. This reduction will be equivalent to taking either 380,000 cars off the road or planting 350,000 trees, producing enough electricity to power approximately 300,000 homes with renewable energy.
Tranex remains the most trusted solar contractor in Australia, known for completing every project we have started.
