ROSS RIVER
SOLAR FARM

The Ross River Solar Farm is a 148 MW DC project located near Townsville QLD.

The project, built by Tranex Solar Pty Ltd - Australia's most trusted solar contractor, is supported by both ARENA and the Queensland Government.

Tranex Solar Pty Ltd were awarded this project by Downer, due to our extensive experience with Array Technologies Tracker System and our exemplary Safety Record.

The Ross River Solar Farm (developed by ESCO Pacific) consists of 4456 Array Technologies DuraTrack® single-axis trackers and 417,662 PV modules.

The Ross River Solar Farm will generate approximately 250,000 megawatt hours (MWh) of clean and renewable electricity into the national power grid each year, thereby making a major contribution to Australia’s greenhouse gas reductions. This reduction will be equivalent to taking either 70,000 cars off the road or planting 250,000 trees, producing enough electricity to power approximately 43,000 homes with renewable energy.

Tranex remains the most trusted solar contractor in Australia, known for completing every project we have started.
