WEMEN
SOLAR FARM

The Wemen Solar Farm is a 110 MW DC project located near Mildura NSW.

Following the collapse of RCR Tomlinson, Tranex Solar Pty Ltd was engaged by the principle to complete this project which had only been partially constructed at this point.

The Wemen Solar Farm (developed by Wirsol) consists of Nextracker single-axis trackers mounted on 318,942 PV modules, spanning across 283 Hectares.

The Wemen Solar Farm will generate approximately 160,000 megawatt hours (MWh) of clean, renewable electricity into the national power grid each year, thereby making a major contribution to Australia’s greenhouse gas reductions. This reduction will be equivalent to taking either 44,000 cars off the road or planting 27,000 trees, producing enough electricity to power approximately 34,000 homes with renewable energy.

Tranex Solar Pty Ltd remains the most trusted solar contractor in Australia, known for completing every project we have started.
